A Plan Comes Together

I just love it when a plan I have had in my mind for a while actually becomes reality. This plan began with one  plain blue suitcase I found in a closet in my grandmothers house. I immediately had a vision and knew what I wanted to do with this simple blue suitcase. I took it back to the studio and my plan was set in motion. I was on the hunt.

The Hunt

My favorite places to 'hunt' are flea markets and antique stores. For the next 2 years, every antique store, every flea market and yard sale I went to I was on the look out for two more bluish suitcases in various sizes.

The Perfect Background

I knew in my first vision when I found the suitcase that I wanted a timeless brick background. This was nearly as hard to find as the various suitcases. But I found a background that was perfect.

The final piece of the puzzle....a sweet little newborn peacefully sleeping on top.
